BOOKMARK THIS PAGE
a resources page helps me share with you resources that I use now or have had success with. I only list companies with whom I have had a stellar experience and feel they can benefit others. I bought my first domain name in 1995 and have been building websites and blogs ever since.
What’s that mean to you? It means I’ve tried using a lot of internet related companies and have seen what works and what doesn’t. You may use any company you wish and get similar results, however I’ve had great experiences with the companies listed on this page and I see a benefit in them for others.
My Most Recommended Real Estate Agent Marketing Resources
If you scan through the entire Agent Kickstarter website and take advantage of nothing else, this would be what you want to pay attention to. I use these products every day and I am so happy because they have actually made my life much easier. I’m sure that you like easier too so check these out, you don’t want to miss these.
I currently manage nine websites and they are all hosted on Bluehost. I’ve been a customer of theirs since 2006. Their customer service is amazing, they respond quickly to any issues I have. I’ve even tweeted them and had help within five minutes. I highly recommend Bluehost for all your hosting needs and you can also host multiple domains on one account. That alone is priceless and great for testing. Bluehost can automatically install WordPress with a few clicks.
My Theme Shop has many great out of the box themes that you can use to build you blog quickly. One of the best features is that they have “responsive” themes, that means that they automatically adjust to the viewer’s device. So if the user is on a desktop computer, smartphone or a tablet the website display correctly and you can navigate throughout the site with no problems. You want to have a “responsive” theme for your WordPress blog. Lifetime support is a huge. Themes are downloaded to your computer and then simply installed with two clicks of a mouse.
I’m sure you’ve heard this before, “Your database is your business.” Well, there’s no better way to grow your database that by creating an email list. GetRespone is my favorite because they have excellent customer service. GetResponse has tons of email templates and you can customize the forms simply by dragging and dropping. It’s entirely web based and you can tweak it to your preferences. Automated responses (autoresponders), custom thank you pages, lead pages, newsletters, statistics, surveys and webforms.
Optin Skin is another of my favorites, it’s a premium WordPress plugin. Optin Skin takes the work out of creating custom opt-in forms for your blog posts and pages. They can be added virtually anywhere, including in widgets. It allows each for to be individually tracked for stats like impressions, subscriptions and conversion rates. How’s that for a full featured plugin? You’re going to love this one. It also painlessly integrates with GetResponse as well as Aweber, Mailchimp, Infusionsoft, Feedburner and iContact.

Premium Themes for WordPress
When it comes to themes there are thousands of choices. Not all themes are created equal. Even if they were created equal, the support and updates make all the difference. A premium theme at a modest price is worth it. Here are several companies that I have used either in the past or currently.
As WordPress continually updates itself you need a theme that will be updated as well to handle new or improved Wordpress features. This is why support and updates from your theme provider is important. You spend a lot of time tweaking your site and adjusting everything just so. If WordPress releases update and your theme provider hasn’t upgraded the theme to be compatible with the new WordPress version you may be stuck with a useless them and a blog / website that doesn’t work correctly anymore. You and I both don’t want that to happen.
I have been using Dropbox for since 2010 and have nothing but praise for it. It lets me store anything I want online and access it from anywhere. Here’s the kicker, it’s totally FREE! Yep, that’s right free for up to two gigabytes of storage. If you refer someone to Dropbox and they sign up for a free account you gain an additional 500 Megabytes. I sent out an invite to my friends and now I have over six gigabytes for free. Dropbox has apps for your android and ios devices that let you access the information from anywhere you have internet access.
